About The System
RO Performance Without the Tank
Sydney apartments have limited under-sink space. Traditional reverse osmosis systems take up significant cabinet room — three large filter housings plus a bulky 12-litre pressurised tank. The Pure Compact solves this with a fundamentally different design: three compact inline filters (no large housings) and a high-output 380LPD membrane that operates tankless, filtering water on demand rather than storing it.
The filtration performance is equivalent to any other RO system in the range. The combined pre-filter removes sediment, chlorine and chloramine to protect the membrane. The 380LPD RO membrane rejects up to 99% of dissolved contaminants — fluoride (up to 95%), heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS, bacteria and microplastics. The alkaline remineralisation post-filter replenishes calcium, magnesium and potassium, raising the pH to 7.5–8.5 for balanced, naturally flavoursome water.
What's different is the form factor. No tank under the sink means more storage space, and the inline filter design takes up a fraction of the footprint of housing-based RO systems. Jean-Paul has installed the Pure Compact in Sydney apartments where a standard RO simply wouldn't fit — from tight terrace house kitchens to compact flat cabinetry in inner-city suburbs.
Filter Stage Breakdown
1
Combined Sediment + Carbon Pre-Filter
Sediment, chlorine, chloramine, taste & odour
A compact inline combination filter that performs the work of two traditional housing-based stages. Removes physical particulates (sediment, silt, rust) while also reducing chlorine, chloramine, VOCs and chemical taste and odour. Protects and extends the life of the RO membrane. Replaced every 12 months.

2
High-Output RO Membrane (380 LPD)
0.0001 micron — 99%+ TDS rejection — tankless
A high-efficiency inline RO membrane rated at 380 litres per day — significantly higher output than standard 75 GPD membranes. Removes up to 99% of dissolved solids including fluoride (up to 95%), heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS, bacteria and microplastics. The tankless design means water is filtered on demand rather than stored.

Alkaline Remineralisation Post-Filter
pH 7.5–8.5, minerals added
A compact inline alkaline filter that replenishes beneficial minerals (calcium, magnesium, potassium) removed by the RO process, raising the pH to 7.5–8.5 for smooth, naturally balanced water. The final stage before the filter tap. Replaced every 12 months.
