About The System

Full RO Performance, Compact Footprint

Sydney apartments have limited under-sink space. Traditional reverse osmosis systems take up significant cabinet room, three large filter housings that have to be unscrewed to service. The Pure Compact solves this with a different design: three slimline inline quick-connect filters in place of those bulky housings, paired with a high-output 380LPD membrane and a compact storage tank, so the whole system tucks into a fraction of the cabinet space.

The filtration performance is equivalent to any other RO system in the range. The coconut carbon pre-filter reduces chlorine, VOCs and the chemical taste and odour they cause, protecting the membrane. The 380LPD RO membrane rejects up to 98% of dissolved contaminants, fluoride (up to 95%), heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS, bacteria and microplastics. The alkaline remineralisation post-filter replenishes calcium, magnesium and potassium, raising the pH to 7.5–8.5 for balanced, naturally flavoursome water.

What's different is the form factor. The slimline inline filter design takes up a fraction of the footprint of housing-based RO systems, and the quick-connect cartridges twist out in seconds at service time, no wrench, no mess. Jean-Paul has installed the Pure Compact in Sydney apartments where a standard RO simply wouldn't fit, from tight terrace house kitchens to compact flat cabinetry in inner-city suburbs.

0.0001 micron, up to 98% TDS rejection
A high-output 100 GPD reverse osmosis membrane rated at 380 litres per day, well above older 50–75 GPD membranes. Removes up to 98% of dissolved solids including fluoride (up to 95%), heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS, bacteria and microplastics. The high output keeps the compact storage tank topped up for instant filtered water. NSF/ANSI 58 compliant.

GAC + Alkaline Mineral Post-Filter
2-in-1, pH 7.5–8.5, minerals added
A 2-in-1 inline filter combining granular activated coconut carbon for a final taste polish with alkaline mineral media that replenishes calcium, magnesium and potassium removed by the RO process, raising the pH to 7.5–8.5 for smooth, naturally balanced water. Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The Pure Compact swaps the three bulky filter housings of a standard RO system for three slimline inline quick-connect filters, paired with a compact storage tank. Same reverse osmosis purification and 380 litres per day output, in a fraction of the under-sink footprint, so it fits cabinets where a full-size RO won't.
The Pure Compact is purpose-built for apartments. Slimline inline quick-connect filters in place of bulky housings mean it requires noticeably less under-sink space than a standard RO installation. Jean-Paul has installed the Pure Compact in apartments across inner Sydney with no space issues.
Yes, water quality is equivalent. The RO membrane operates at 0.0001 microns and achieves up to 98% TDS rejection and up to 95% fluoride removal, identical to larger systems. The compact design affects footprint and form factor, not filtration performance. The alkaline remineralisation stage delivers the same mineral-balanced output as the Pure Plus+.
The Pure Compact is rated at 380 litres per day (LPD). For a household drawing 3–8 litres from the filter tap daily, the system is never supply-limited. The high output is achieved through the compact inline membrane design, which runs at higher efficiency than traditional 75 GPD tank systems.
Yes. The Pure Compact includes a compact pressurised storage tank, so filtered water is ready instantly at the tap. The space saving comes from the slimline inline quick-connect filters that replace three bulky housings, not from removing the tank. The 380LPD membrane keeps the tank topped up, so supply is never an issue.
Installation takes approximately 1.5–2 hours. Jean-Paul connects the three inline filters to your cold water supply, fits the compact storage tank, runs the drain line, and installs the filter tap. The slimline inline filters make for a tidy, clean installation overall.
The pre-filter and alkaline post-filter are replaced every 12 months. The RO membrane typically lasts 2–3 years. Professional annual service is $350 including all filters and labour. DIY replacement is $130 per year.
Yes. The RO membrane removes up to 95% of fluoride, identical to all RO systems in the range. Fluoride rejection is a function of the membrane technology, not the size of the housing system around it.
