"If the system itself ever fails — cracks, leaks, faults — we replace it and do all the labour, free, for life. The wear parts around it, we look after at your yearly service."
The value isn't a cheap part. It's the two hours of a licensed plumber — shutting off, draining, breaking it down and re-plumbing — that you never pay for. That's the promise with teeth.
Three layers of cover, so nothing gets forgotten
Every system we install is protected on three levels — the body of the system for life, the valves for two years, and the everyday wear parts at a fair fixed price after that.
The sealed system + all the labour
The housings, RO membrane housing, centre joiner and Quick Change manifold — the body of your system. If any of it fails through a fault or normal wear, we replace it and do the full plumbing job to swap it out, at no cost, for as long as you own the system and stay on your plan.
The valves
The pressure limiting valve, check valve, shut-off valve, feedwater valve and filter tap are all covered free for the first two years, backed by our supplier's own manufacturer warranty. If one fails in that window, we sort it — no charge.
The everyday wear parts
After two years, valves and other wear parts are replaced at a fixed, published, low price — because we're already on-site for your service. No made-up-on-the-day numbers. A valve is $80 done, a tap $170, a storage tank $240. Fair, and no surprises.
A note on Pure Luxe smart electronics: the smart monitoring, sensors and display on the Pure Luxe are fully covered for the first 5 years. After that, if the electronics ever fail, we replace the entire system and do the install labour free — you simply pay 50% of a new system as a fixed $600 contribution. It keeps the smartest system in the range protected without an open-ended promise we couldn't honestly keep.
Three simple things keep it valid
The lifetime warranty is a benefit of an ongoing relationship, not a sticker on a box. Keep these three true and you're covered for life.
We installed it
The system was bought and installed through Filters For You, not a retail kit we were asked to fit.
You stay on your service plan
We service it every 12 months. There's a 30-day grace period on each service, so a busy month is never a problem.
It stays put, and only we touch it
The system stays at its original address, and it's only ever opened or worked on by us.
That's it
Do those three and the sealed system and its labour are yours, free, for the life of the system.
What's in, and what's honestly not
Covered
- The sealed system body — housings, RO housing, joiner, manifold — for life
- All the plumbing labour to replace a covered part
- Valves, free, for the first 2 years
- Wear parts after that, at a fixed low price
- Genuine system-failure call-outs, always free, even standalone
Not covered
- Filter cartridges — those are your yearly service, not a warranty item
- Cosmetic scuffs or fading that don't affect function
- Damage from floods, pests, building works or other trades
- Any system opened or repaired by someone other than us
- A system that's been moved, or a home that's changed hands
Lifetime warranty, answered
Is the lifetime warranty really free?
Yes. If a covered sealed component fails, we replace the part and do all the labour at no cost, with no call-out fee for a genuine warranty claim. It's backed by your annual service plan — a separate paid service that covers your cartridge replacement and a full inspection each year.
What happens if I miss a service?
You have a 30-day grace period from each service due date. Complete it within that window and your cover carries on unbroken. If a service is left longer than that, the warranty lapses — so we'll always remind you before it's due.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
No — the lifetime warranty is personal to you at your installation address and doesn't transfer to a new owner or tenant. A new occupant can arrange their own service agreement with us.
Can I get the warranty back after cancelling my plan?
No. Once the plan lapses, the lifetime warranty ends permanently on that system and can't be reinstated — that's what keeps it genuinely sustainable for every client who does stay on plan. You're always welcome back for paid servicing, but the lifetime cover doesn't restart.
Where can I read the full terms?
The complete, binding warranty terms — every condition, exclusion and the claims process — are set out in Section 6 of our Terms & Conditions.
