About The System
Know Your Water Quality. Automatically.
Reverse osmosis is the most comprehensive residential water filtration method available, but it works invisibly. You turn the tap, draw filtered water, and trust that the system is performing. With the Pure Luxe, you don't have to trust blindly. The built-in smart monitor continuously tests your water quality (TDS) and shows you exactly how the system is performing in real time.
Sydney mains water typically reads 80–180 ppm TDS. A well-maintained RO system should deliver under 20 ppm. The Pure Luxe's smart monitor watches your water quality continuously and gives you a set-and-forget reminder when the filters are due. It also has built-in leak detection that automatically shuts off the water supply if it ever senses an internal leak. When the TDS reading starts creeping up, you know the membrane is due for service, before your water quality actually degrades.
On top of the monitoring capability, the Pure Luxe uses the same quick-change twist-fit cartridge system as the Pure Advanced, no tools required for annual servicing. All five cartridges are accessible under the sink and replaced with a simple quarter-turn. The RO membrane is the only stage that typically requires a service visit (every 3–5 years).
Jean-Paul installs every Pure Luxe personally. Fixed price of $1,520 includes the system, 12L tank, smart monitor, booster pump, all fittings, and licensed installation.
Filter Stage Breakdown
1
2-46-1 (ST-01)
1-Micron Sediment Quick-Change Cartridge
Pre-filter, Particles, silt, rust
A 1-micron melt-blown polypropylene sediment cartridge that removes sand, silt, rust and suspended solids, protecting the carbon pre-filters and RO membrane from clogging. Quick-change twist-fit, no tools. Replaced every 6 months.

2
4-55-GAC (ST-33)
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Pre-Filter
Pre-filter, Chlorine, organic chemicals
A loosely-packed granular activated carbon cartridge that allows high flow while taking the first hit at the chlorine and organic chemicals that would otherwise damage the RO membrane. Protects and extends the life of every stage after it. Replaced every 6 months.

4-55-CTO (ST-CTO)
5-Micron Coconut Carbon Block (CTO)
Pre-filter, Chlorine, VOCs, Taste & Odour
A 5-micron coconut carbon block with a dense matrix for maximum surface area and contact time. This stage takes the biggest load of chemical reduction, chlorine, VOCs, taste and odour, right before the membrane. Replaced every 12 months.

4
13-RO50 (ST-RO50)
50 GPD Filmtec RO Membrane
Primary filter, 0.0001 micron, up to 98% reduction
The engine room. The Filmtec thin-film composite membrane filters to 0.0001 micron, rejecting fluoride (up to 98%), heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS, salts, bacteria and cysts. The compact booster pump drives it at higher pressure for stronger rejection and lower TDS, and the smart monitor reads this stage's output continuously. Long-life quick-change cartridge, replaced every 3–5 years.

4-55-ALK (ST-34ALK)
Carbon + Calcium Alkalising Finishing Stage
Post-filter, pH 7–8, calcium added
A dual finishing cartridge: the finest Japanese activated coconut carbon for a clean, pure taste, then calcite (calcium carbonate) media that lifts and buffers the final pH to a balanced 7–8 without adding hardness. Annual replacement, twist out, twist in.
