What owners, renovators, builders and developers ask us first.
When should we get you in on a new build?
At frame stage, so the system is planned into the build. Whole house filtration is plumbed into the main during the building stage, and it’s best put in before the landscaping is done.
Where does a whole house water filter go on a new home?
Where the water comes into the home, ideally on the side of the home where the water service runs. Pure Home is three black housings on a wall bracket. Pure Home Reserve sits in a lockable stainless cabinet in 22 colours, so it can suit the build.
Does whole house filtration filter the drinking water too?
Yes. Every tap after the system gets filtered water, the kitchen tap included, down to 0.22 micron, and calcium and magnesium stay in. For purified drinking water as well, add reverse osmosis under the kitchen sink.
We’re renovating the kitchen. Is that a good time to add a water filter?
Yes. Reverse osmosis sits in the cupboard under the kitchen sink with its own tap, so it can go in while the joinery does. Pure Essential is $1,090, Pure Premium $1,490 and Pure Luxe $1,990, installed. The Classic three way mixer brings hot, cold and purified water to one tap, $480 on its own.
We’re renovating a bathroom. Where does the filter go?
Not in the bathroom. A whole house system goes where the water enters your home, and every shower, bath and basin after it gets filtered water. It helps reduce chlorine and chloramine in the shower and the bath.

What does whole house filtration cost for one new home?
Pure Home is from $2,950 and Pure Home Reserve from $4,150, installed. Every price includes GST, supply and installation. Builders and developers get custom package pricing. You can also spread the cost with interest free payment plans.
Can purified drinking water go in at the same time?
Yes. Deluxe Home brings Pure Home, Pure Essential and the Classic three way mixer together from $4,040. Deluxe Home Reserve brings Pure Home Reserve, Pure Premium and the mixer together from $5,640, with the first year of servicing free on both. The mixer is free in both.
Who installs it, and how long does it take?
A licensed plumber, NSW licence 461511C, with a fixed price in writing first. Most installs are booked in within the week. Whole house systems take 2 to 3 hours to install, and under sink and reverse osmosis systems about 1.5 to 2 hours.
What water pressure does the whole house system need?
The whole house systems are on WaterMark certificate 080113. The public register lists an inlet pressure of 200 to 800 kPa.
Do you work from the builder’s plans?
Yes. We plan the spot from your plans at frame stage, ideally on the side of the home where the water service runs. The system’s WaterMark certificate and our plumbing licence, NSW 461511C, are both on public registers.
Does whole house filtration work in apartments?
Whole house filtration goes in where water enters your home. In an apartment that’s usually the building’s plumbing, so an under sink system is the usual fit. In a townhouse or a house with its own supply, whole house can work. Ask us about yours. Water filters for apartments.
What happens after handover?
The owner is covered from install day until the first service. At that service they choose a DIY kit, a Professional yearly service or the Filtered for Life plan. Covered for life while they stay on the Filtered for Life plan.
What does it cost to look after each year?
For Pure Home and Pure Home Reserve, a DIY kit is $390 a year, the Professional yearly service $550 and Filtered for Life $700. Each option is paid once a year, at the service. No monthly payments.
